A National Historic Landmark: Dating from 1874, designed by James Renwick, the architect of St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York, the church blends Gothic Revival architecture with interiors reimagined in 1901 by Howard van Doren Shaw & Frederic Clay Bartlett.

Guided by Experts: Trained volunteer docents from Friends of Historic Second Church will lead free guided tours all weekend, sharing stories of the church's design, symbolism and preservation.

Accessibility: The building is accessible at the south entrance via the ramp on Cullerton Ave.

Parking / Transit: The closest bus stop is at the corner of Michigan Ave and Cullerton, via the 3 and 4 buses. The closest Red Line stop on the L is Chinatown. A small parking lot on the north side of the church is accessible, along with paid street parking nearby.
